Our mission is to attract and retain young professionals in the greater Fresno area who are committed to professional and civic leadership. We are a local nonprofit grassroots organization, and our goals are in alignment with City and County visions for regional economic development. Our programs are designed to help young professionals lead, serve, and connect in the Fresno community. In turn, FLYP serves to develop the next generation of leaders to lead our Fresno community for many generations to come. On behalf of FLYP’s Board of Directors and the thousands of members that make up our organization, welcome to our website—we look forward to connecting with you at one of our many events in the near future.

FLYPer of the Month

Fresno’s Leading Young Professionals (FLYP) is seeking nominations for the FLYPer of the Month Award which will be presented on a monthly basis. Award winners will be recognized at the mixer, in our newsletter and a bio will be displayed on our website. Nominations are due no later than the 20th of every month.     Thursday, December 17, is a big day for Downtown Fresno, with the City Council set to consider several key steps in the revitalization process. Among the top issues:(1) The contract to develop new land use “plans” (really they’re laws) for Downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. (2)A package of downtown development incentives based on the deferral of City impact fees. Let your voice be heard!
