Community Outreach

Fresno’s Leading Young Professionals is dedicated to community outreach and to helping young professionals learn more about causes directly related to the Fresno community. We aim to inspire young professionals to get active in giving back to the community where we live, work, and play. FLYP recognizes that today’s young professionals not only want to be successful in their profession, but also want to make a difference in their community. Join us as we explore, plan, and facilitate a variety of interactive forums about relevant issues in the community, in concert with days of action for volunteer service.

SERVE programs include:

• Educational Forums: The Educational Forum Series offered through FLYP is focused on specfic issues in Fresno that are relevant to Fresno’s future and the quality of life it offers young professionals. Topics vary anywhere from economics and employment,  to poverty and crime.
• Day of Action: Our forums are partnered with a day of service. The goal is for FLYP members to not only learn about important issues pertaining to the vitality of Fresno, but discover ways to get involved and make a difference in the community through a Day of Action.
