Social and Professional Networking
Social and professional networking is instrumental in every professional’s path to a successful career. Building a variety of key contacts can not only assist a professional in finding a job and gaining leads, but feeling connected to the community by building lasting friendships.

CONNECT programs include:

• Mixers: Mixers are offered every month at local retaurants as a way for FLYP members to meet other young professionals in the Central Valley Area.
• Community Leader Luncheons: This program is offered every other month and gives young professionals an oppurtunity to get to know their elected officals in a more intimate setting. Guest speakers share about their journeys to public service positions and insight into current community issues.
• Quarterly Events: Pub crawls, Grizzlies games, Fresno State tailgating and football games — you name it!
• Sports: League sports are offered year round. Currently, we are looking for interested FLYP members who want to join softball, basketball, and dodgeball leagues.
• FLYP Awards Banquet: FLYP’s Annual Awards Banquet is held to honor and recognize Fresno’s finest leading professionals, who have invested time and resources into the community. Award categories include: Lead, Serve, Connect, Company of the Year, and FLYPer of the Year. FLYP also gives out an undergraduate and graduate scholarship
