Fresno is California’s Year-Round Playground

wonder what makes Fresno unique?  When someone asks you what there is to do in Fresno or what makes our region unique, are you at a loss for words?  If so, the Fresno Convention & Visitors Bureau has been working with two of Fresno’s marketing/branding experts, Suzanne Bertz-Rosa and Travis Sheridan, to develop a brand describing who and what Fresno is all about.  If you haven’t seen it yet, I’ve included the link below.  It’s quite a vision of Fresno’s brand and hopefully you all have the chance to read it and work through some of the exercises towards the end.

If you’re interested in reading more about some of the fun and exciting things to do in Fresno and its surrounding areas, you might also browse the FCVB’s website at www.playfresno.org.  They have phone numbers for people whom you can contact if you’re interested in having fun outdoors–hiking, rock climbing, camping, national parks–shopping, eating out, etc.  My fellow blogger Adam and I will probably have some stories and adventures we’ll share with you sometime in the near future on specific things that we’ve done so that you can enjoy Fresno and it’s neighboring areas year-round.
